Collection: Human skull candle holders

These detailed and realistic life size human skull candle holders are handmade from polymerised plaster (fine, hard plaster of Paris mixed with an acrylic polymer which makes a material similar to a resin). They are painted for a weathered appearance varying from light ageing to ancient fossil and finished with lacquer for a bone-like sheen. Suitable for a candle up to 6.7 cm (2 & 3/4 inches) in diameter.

I photograph each piece individually rather than using stock photos as there is a certain degree of variation between individual skulls, this means the skull you will receive will be a unique item.

Ideal as a gothic ornament, still life subject, memento mori etc.
